Spring Eggstravaganza

Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 9:00am - 11:00am

Join us for the Town of Gypsum's annual Eggstravaganza at the Town Campus Lawn in fron tof the library. There will be age appropriate activities with prizes for each and every participant.

The fun begins at 9:30am with our Toddler and preschool aged Easter Egg Hunt. Kids ages 0-5 will be provided an Easter basket by the town and released in groups of 20 in an area where they can easily grab filled eggs.

For the older kids, we will have a Scavenger hunt for age groups 6-12. Kids will be in groups of 8 and be given a group leader and a starter egg which has first riddle clue. Their Starter egg sends them on their journey to find the next egg with the next clue. Once they go through several clues they will reach the final destination and receive their prize.

The Easter Bunny will be available again for photos as well as a craft tent for fun creations to take home. The Gypsum Fire Department will host the annual Easter pancake starting at 9:30am.

In addition, Western Eagle County Municipal Recreation District (WECMRD) will be doing Eggquatics, an underwater egg hunt for awesome prizes in the following age categories: 0 -2 & 6 - 8  at 11:30am and 3 –5 & 9-12 at 11:45am.
