Gypsum gets a state grant for gun clubhouse construction (Vail Daily 10/21/15) 
Thanks to $330,000 grant from the Colorado Department of Local Affairs, the facility is poised for a big upgrade.  The new 2,400-square-foot, two-story building will feature classroom space on the lower level and event space and a kitchen on the main level.  “It’s really going to be a place where we can teach hunter education and also have space for 4-H and scouts,” said Jeff Shroll.   Gypsum will match 50 percent of the grant, which will result in an approximately $500,000 finished building.  For the full article visit Vail Daily.

Gypsum Shooting Park hosts grand opening (Vail Daily 11/22/16)
Along with numerous rifle, pistol and shotgun turkey and bacon shoot competitions, participants in Saturday’s event were treated to a free lunch prepared by the Gypsum Creek Grill. During their day of shooting and celebrating, members and guests of the Eagle Valley Rod and Gun Club had the chance to check out the new 4,800-square-foot clubhouse and thank the various entities, businesses, and individuals who helped make it happen.
