Public Notice: Request for Proposals (RFP) - 2019 Water System SCADA Upgrades

The Town of Gypsum is requesting qualified Professional Engineering consulting firms to respond to this Request for Proposals (RFP) to provide necessary upgrades to the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system used to remotely monitor and control the water distribution system.

Respondents to this RFP should have extensive experience designing, installing, programming, and supporting SCADA systems for water treatment and distribution systems, including experience with: Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), radio and internet-based telemetry systems, and pumping systems.

Timeline:
Request for RFP: August 8, 2019
Proposals Due: August 28, 2019
Interviews with Shortlisted Bidders: September 2-5, 2019
Contract Award: September 9, 2019
Project Complete: October 15, 2019

Project Information & Bid Requirements  

Award made, if any, under the Fair and Open Process shall be made to the vendor whose qualifications are most advantageous to the Town.  Factors include but are not limited to experience and/or reputation in the field, knowledge of each agency and the subject matter to be addressed under the proposal and contract, compensation proposal and other factors if determined to be in the best interest of the Town. 

All awards are subject to State Statute and the Town of Gypsum Requirements and Approvals.

Bid Deadline: Wednesday, August 28, 2019
Proposals should be titled "2019 Town of Gypsum SCADA System Upgrades" and submitted to Robert Salazar, Public Works Inspector.
