Eagle County Sheriff 

 The Sheriff's Office consists of four service categories: investigations, patrol, detentions and administration. The office is committed to working with the community to help make Eagle County a safe and secure place to live and play. The Eagle County Sheriffs' department responds to calls all over the Eagle Valley. Additionally, the Town of Gypsum contracts two Eagle County Sheriff's Deputies for patrol in the Town. 

Gypsum Fire Protection District

Our philosophy is “We are willing to go any time, any place to help with any emergency.” The Gypsum Fire Protection District is your friend and neighbor ready and willing to help at a moments' notice – 24 hours a day – 365 days a year. This group consists of two paid career fire fighters and 26 volunteer fire fighters with a cadet program for high school kids ages 14 to 18. The fire district has existed since 1982 and the department has served the town since 1911. The cadet program a/k/a the “Company Nine” has functioned since 1991.

Eagle County Paramedic Services

Eagle County Paramedic Services (ECPS), formally Eagle County Health Service District and Western Eagle County Ambulance District is a full-service Emergency Medical Services (EMS) agency that provides 9-1-1 emergency response, inter-facility patient transportation including Paramedic level Critical Care, Community Paramedic, community events, medical support of special events and specialized response teams.
