Whether it’s family movie nights under the stars, those honky-tonk Gypsum Daze, or the Community Cleanup, Gypsum loves events and any excuse for fireworks!

Check out this year’s event line up below.  If you or your organization would like to volunteer to help at any of our events let us know by filling out our Volunteer Form. Or, when we are in or headed into event season we will post event-specific volunteer signups below.

Gypsum Fire's Santa Parade

Mark your calendars Gypsum Fire Protection District is bringing a very special guest to town for our annual Santa Parade! Come see the big guy Wednesday, December 18, starting in Buckhorn at 5pm! Expected neighborhood arrival times below. You can follow them that night as they post the parade status and pictures on both the Gypsum Fire & Town of Gypsum Facebook pages.

Neighborhood Estimated Start time Route
Buckhorn 5:00 PM Cooley Mesa & Navajo Rd to Indian Heights to Buckhorn Valley Blvd to Spring Buck to Airpark.
Cotton Ranch 5:30 PM Vicksburg to Black Bear to Cotton Ranch Drive to Legend Drive to end. Back to White Tail to Grundel
Chatfield 6:00 PM Start at Grundel and travel down Chatfield Lane to Valley Road
Old Town 6:20 PM Vicksburg down 2nd St to Eagle St. to Hwy 6 to Valley Road to Cooley Mesa.
Stratton Flats & Gypsum Estates 7:00 PM Hwy 6 & Sunny, travel west down Sunny to Greenway to schoolside to Hwy 6.
Eagle River Estates 7:30 PM Hwy 6 & Riverview left on Prophry to Riverview left to Hwy 6 to York View and York View Ct.
2 Rivers 8:00 PM Colorado River Rd to Rainbow Circle and back via Buffalo Blvd
Dotsero MHP 8:20 PM Will drive the circle.
