Code compliance keeps our Gypsum Community safe and aesthetically pleasing for residents and businesses alike.

Code compliance staff monitors and enforces a variety of applicable Town ordinances, codes, and regulations related to zoning, land use, nuisance housing, building codes, health and safety, blight, graffiti, water waste, and other matters of public concern. Code compliance staff also serves as a resource and provides information on Town regulations to property owners, residents, businesses, the general public, and other Town Departments. 

Code Violations

To better serve the residents and visitors to the town of Gypsum we provide an online reporting portal for violations of the Gypsum Municipal Code. To report observed violations please click HERE and review the directions at the top of that page to complete and submit the form.

If you receive a notice of violation from Town of Gypsum Code Compliance staff, please correct the violation(s) by the date specified on the notice.  If you do not understand what is being requested, need more information, or if you believe the notice was issued in error please contact Code Compliance staff.
