Gypsum is home to recreational amenities like a 57,000 square foot Recreation Center, 18-Hole Pete Dye designed Golf Course, 160-acre Motocross Park, miles of mountain biking/ATV/4x4 Jeeping trials, and our ever-popular outdoor Pickleball Courts. Plus, with over 96 acres of open space surrounding Gypsum, you can be hiking, hunting, snowmobiling, and rafting or fishing the Eagle or Colorado Rivers in a matter of minutes.

Gypsum Hills Recreational Area is accessible via BLM access from Trail Gulch Road on the north side of I-70. This area is known for its challenging four-wheel drive routes and off-highway vehicle trails, offering visitors the chance to test their 4x4 abilities while enjoying the fantastic mountain scenery and ranching landscapes. There are also plenty of options for mountain bikers and hunters.
